SOUL-PATROL HAS BEEN HACKED
Due to unforeseen technical difficulties Soul-Patrol.com and Soul-Patrol.net are temporarily
down.
Mike has spent the better part of this morning (2/21/2005) researching this problem from a
technology perspective. Based on his analysis, it is clear that this was the result of an
intentional attack on Soul-Patrol by either the "mass media powers that be" (AOL, MSN, Yahoo,
BET, Live 365, Cathy Hughes/Radio One, Clear Channel, etc) or "culture bandits".
As you are all aware, this is not the first time that this has occurred, nor will it be the
last. Clearly we have been aware for some time, that there are some folks who do not think
that we should exist and they aren't going to give up trying to shut us down permanently as an
voice in the wilderness for an independent Black perspective on music/culture.
I suppose that for these people the recent article about Soul-Patrol in Billboard Magazine was
just a little bit too much attention for some "colored boys from Brooklyn" to be getting?

We regret any inconvenience this might be causing you at this time, but I can assure you that
it is nowhere near the inconvenience that it is causing me.
Mike has informed me that we should be back up within a week or so.
(These bastards have never been able to keep our internet resources down for long and they
