I have to greatly agree with Erik's choice for Incognito's _Adventures in
Black Sunshine_ as a top ten for 2004. I finally got mine at the end of
2004 as a Christmas gift to myself, and it is so mind blowing. The
psychadelic soul of "Mr. Jones" is probably my favorite.
I've introduced my younger cousin to Groove Collective, who has become a
fan, so I got him the double vinyl of their self-titled debut. He was so
stoked; he listened to it non-stop during the holidays. Yes, Elson, of
course GC is still around...and sorry for embarrassing you :)
Did Josh Roseman Unit's _Treats for the Nightwalker_ come out in 2004? If
so, that is definatley the best (IMO) of 2004. The most incredible music
ever, I believe.
