    Kaboom!

As I write this I'm watching fireworks from SF, the East Bay and
parts unknown from my window overlooking the Bay Bridge....here's
hoping you had a nice, long weekend and a safe one too!

On tonight's show there will be no flag waving or patriotic hymns -
just two hours of new sounds that include the latest albums from
Esthero, Five Corners Quintet, Nubian Mindz, Koushik, Salome de
Bahia, Domu, Pink Freud, S.U.M.O. and much, much more.

I'll also have tickets for this weekend's shows at the Fillmore,
featuring Esthero on Friday night and Brazilian Girls on Saturday.
I'll be spinning CDs in the upstairs lounge on Saturday, so please
    stop by and say hello.

Last week's In The Soul Kitchen show is up on our second Live365
stream, so check it out if you're in the mood for a couple of hours
    of jazz, blues and soul.

    Ciao for now,
    David
