---- NEWS Part Two of the Halfway Rewind Special, focusing on many of my most recommended singles and EPs of 2005 so far, will air this week. In its place... THE URBAN LANDSCAPES GUESTMIX PRESENTS: Eddy Ramich (Compost Records, Zagreb) This week's broadcast features the Urban Landscapes Guestmix from Eddy Ramich of Eddy Meets Yannah. Originally from Switzerland and now living in Zagreb, Ramich (along with partner Dus) was responsible for the Kontrapunkt club nights that features some of the world's finest nu-jazz artists, DJs, and producers. Eddy & Dus have worked on a number of remixes over the years. After parting ways, Eddy collaborated with vocalist/producer (and now girlfriend) Yannah. After some esteemed remixes have been released under the "Eddy Meets Yannah" banner, the pair drops its debut long-player for Munich's Compost Records called "Just Like..." In coincide with the release, Eddy has put together a one-hour mix featuring tracks from the album, as well as remixes of some of the tracks. There are other choice tunes and remixes in the mix, as well. Respect to the folks at Compost for providing the mix. Enjoy the music, and have a cool week. ---- The Urban Landscapes Radioshow 8.25 Friday July 1, 2005 Listen at http://www.urbanlandscapes.org/listen/05-07-01.m3u Download at http://www.urbanlandscapes.org/listen/05-07-01.mp3 Song - Artist - Album - Label Destination- Suphala - The Now (Rasa) Aganju (John Beltran Mix) - Bebel Gilberto - Bebel Gilberto Remixed (Six Degrees/Zuriguiboom) Freeze The Cut (Opolopo Remix) - Comfort Fit (Tokyodawn) I Won't Race You - Caural - Raw Fusion Bass-ment Classics (Raw Fusion) Club Trois - Albert Mangelsdorff Quintett - Der Frankfurt Sound (Infracom) Funky Nassau - The Juju Orchestra - 12" (Audiopharm) THE URBAN LANDSCAPES GUESTMIX PRESENTS: Eddy Ramich (Compost Records, Zagreb) Come With Me (Eddy Meets Yannah Adria Dub) - Tania Maria (Victor) Shamed (Domu Remix) - Eddy Meets Yannah (Compost) Oba Awon Oba (Misanegra vs. Afronaught Mix) - Lekan Babalola (Lex 51) Another Day (Yoruba Soul Mix) - Fertile Ground (Counterpoint) Can't Hide Love - Eddy Meets Yannah (Compost) Let Me Be - Ski Oakenfull featuring Amp Fiddler (Rice) Reach The Sky (Reel People Remix) - Eddy Meets Yannah (Compost) The Way We Are (No Comply Remix) - Choi (Equatorial) Are U That Someone? - Eddy Meets Yannah (Compost) Mishaps Happening (Prins Thomas Edit) - Quantic (Tru Thoughts) END OF EDDY RAMICH GUESTMIX Mediocre - Voice - EP 12" (Public Transit) Throughout Your Years - Kurtis Blow - Kurtis Blow (Mercury) Blepharospasm - Nery Bauer - EP 12" (Fluid Ounce) Young American (for Luther Vandross...R.I.P.) - David Bowie - Young American (Ryko) END BROADCAST The Urban Landscapes Radioshow 8.24 Friday June 24, 2005 Listen at http://www.urbanlandscapes.org/listen/05-06-24.m3u Download at http://www.urbanlandscapes.org/listen/05-06-24.mp3 The Halfway Rewind Special Part One: The Albums Song - Artist - Album - Label Elina - Sleepwalker - Sleepwalker (Extra Freedom) Nova Express - Hipnosis - Carrousel (Perfect Toy) Hot Lips - Povo - We Are Povo (Raw Fusion) Around The Clock - Teddy Rok Seven - Universal Four (Jupiter) Subtler Polycultural Shades of Chinese Tiki Coromandel Screens - P.
