Hola,
So....last week I was planning for a casual DJ gig in the Fillmore's
upstairs lounge, but as luck would have it, I wound up on the main
stage as the opening act for the Brazilian Girls. For one brief
moment, I felt like Pete Tong, but I got over that pretty quickly.
What I mostly remember is some guy in the front row smiling and
banging his head on the stage repeatedly. It's nice to know that
music has the power to inspire such strong feelings....
Anyway, there are a few new items on the agenda for this evening,
including new albums from Dwight Trible & The Life Force Trio,
Rosalia De Souza (remixed), Ernesto, Xavier Fischer Trio, a reissue
from Fertile Ground and as always, a few surprises. I hope you'll
join me!
Ciao for now,
David
