Hola,
In case you didn't have a chance to listen live last week, both
FreeFall and In The Soul Kitchen shows are up and ready to enjoy.
Both playlists and their respective links follow these words of
wizdom.
Got a great package from Happy Few Records in Norway with a number of
artists that were new to me, but that I'm quickly becoming wild
about. Barabass & The Happy Few started releasing music on their own
label and before long, other acts like Get On, Fanny Holmin, Floora
and the Bergen Allstars were added to the roster. I'll try and play
some assorted tracks this evening and most certainly in the weeks to
come. For more info, check their Website: http://www.happyfew.no
Other music I'm digging this week includes the new album from Sound
Tribe Sector Nine, the latest (Scorched) Earth compilation on LTJ
Bukem's Good Looking imprint and new discs from Mu, Slope and
Everything But The Girl's remix collection. There's also some Carl
Craig and Black Dog bizness and a slew of Blue Note reissues that
will rock your world. Maybe even a track from the new Residents album!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.....
Until next week - ciao for now,
David
