91.3 FM, as well as via our new and improved Internet stream at
http://www.kcpr.org. You can also catch the live show Saturdays from
5-7am GMT via Clubbity, the safe club culture site, at
http://www.clubbity.com. The international edition of the last five
shows are available online and on-demand at the show's website, which
is http://www.urbanlandscapes.org. The most recent show is usually
posted online a few days after the live broadcast.

NEWS Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls...It's been awhile...it's been a long, long while! Can't tell you how taxing things have been on my side of things. Because of life's unexpected twists and turns, the newsletter and show updates have had to take a back seat for awhile. I'm hoping that sooner rather than later, things will catch up to a manageable level. Below you'll find the playlists for the last three shows, plus my monthly picks for the month of May. And as I hope you'll be able to see, still enough cool music to keep the flow interesting. So be sure to check the shows, and do your best to support these fine artists and labels by shelling out a few of your hard-earned bucks. UPCOMING LIVE ONES: ANTIBALAS AND BREAKESTRA I'm excited as can be that we are having more good sounds and bands coming to San Luis Obispo, as KCPR and KCBX presents the Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra on Sunday evening May 29th, and Breakestra on Thursday June 2nd. Both shows will be at SLO Brew in Downtown SLO, and both are 21-and-over events. More details on these shows coming next week, but mark your calendar because you'll be in for quite a treat or two. DANCE CHURCH THIS SUNDAY Once again, I've been invited to spin music at Dance Church this coming Sunday. It's my first spin since early March, and I'm pleased to do the deed again. We're doing it from 7-9pm at the Yoga Centre, and we're aiming to have a booming sound system this time out. Don't miss your chance to let your body go to the music.
