Hola,
Yes amigos, it's true: tonight we have a guest mix from none other
than Senor Coconut, aka Atom Heart, aka Uwe Schmidt, aka 1/2 of
Flanger, or any one of dozens of other aliases. It's a curious and
quirky 45 minute set that I think you'll enjoy immensely.
We'll also enjoy new music from Static, Amplified, the Lincoln Center
Jazz Orchestra, Sidewinder, Gilles Peterson's new collection of rare
groove tracks from the Brownswood Basement and tickets for Ornette
Coleman and Africa's Konono No. 1, appearing this week as part of the
SFJazz Festival Fall Season. I hope you'll tune in.
