I usually don't make this announcement till late December.
However, this year despite the appearence of new albums this year by George
Clinton, Stevie Wonder, EWF, Herbie Hancock and other names from the past
glory of Funk music, we have come across an album that is so compelling in
it's content and vision that I figured why wait??
(Soul-Patrol will announce the winners in the other categories in December)

Now I realize that more that a few of you have never even heard of NADIR -
DISTORTED SOUL. However don't let that stop you from checking this out, I
assure you that this CD is trully badd!!!
None of you had ever heard of artists like Victor Wooten or Sonny Boy either
when we named them as our FUNK ARTISTS of the year in previous years and
today many of you are fans of BOTH.
