If you're looking for a great party this weekend look no further than
the Rivoli(332) Queen St west and Footprints. Join DJ Stu, General
Eclectic and myself as we play the best in jazz, funk, latin, soul and
samba, along with special guest Maracatu Nunca Antes and their fantastic
percussion. It's 5 dollars b4 11, 10 dollars after, but the first 3
people to mail back with "Footprints please!!" in the subject line will
get themselves and a guest in free. On the Movement front, lookout for
2 parties over the next couple of weeks. First off it's our regular
last Friday of the month at Supermarket(268 Augusta) where Nav, John
Kong and myself mix up the jazz funk soul etc, while on November 4th,
Movement presents the Toronto premiere of two of our favourite artists,
Mark De Clive Lowe and Bembe Segue. Both promise to be amazing nights.
Until next week, keep your feet firmly planted on that Higher Ground! JP
