Higher Ground will be preempted on the 22nd for a live broadcast of the
Jazz By Genre Show at the Guvernment featuring the one and only Roy
Ayers. Tune in tomorrow night for your chance to win tickets, and of
course tune in on the 22nd to hear it all go down live. I'll also be in
the house playing alongside local band Kush at around 7:30, so tune in.
Footprints returns for another heavy session on the 24th at the
Rivoli(332 Queen St west). Join DJ Stu, General Eclectic and myself as
we play the tunes. Movement returns on 30th at the Supermarket (268
Augusta). Join us as we continue our famous sessions with more musical
goodies. Last but certainly not least, join me along Dave Campbell,
Paul E Lopes and others at Privilege(128 Peter St) as we give our time
and music to raise money for those suffering in New Orleans. Come down
and support a very worthy cause. Until next week, keep your feet firmly
planted on that Higher Ground! JP
