    Conguero Francisco Aguabella left Cuba in 1954 to perform in the Italian
    film, "Mambo," starring Shelley Winters before finally coming to the United
    States in 1959. From Europe, to Australia, to South America and all over the
    United States (including the White House), Francisco has enjoyed an
    extensive music performing and recording career and has delighted many
    audiences with his masterful and powerful rhythms.
      
      
    He has performed with many great artists such as Tito Puente, Frank Sinatra,
    Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Palmieri, Cachao, Lalo Schifrin, Cal Tjader, Peggy
    Lee, Nancy Wilson, Carlos Santana, Poncho Sanchez, Paul Simon, recent Grammy
    winner Bebo Valdes, and many more
      
     
      
    Ge-ology (Female Fun, NYC)
      
    Hailing from NY, this Producer/DJ has been in the cut since the late 80's
    when he fashioned a group with the late Tupac Shakur. Ge-ology is also
    credited with producing Tupac's earliest recordings. He has
      
    produced tracks with Jill Scott, De la Soul, Pete Rock, The Mighty Mos Def,
    Talib Kweli, Vinia Mojica, Pharoahe Monche, and Mystic. There's no question
    about this man's skills whether it be as a producer, DJ or as an artist. To
    still be out here doing his thing in the 06 is testament to his devotion and
    love for music. Join us as we bring out Ge-ology for his 2nd Ever Los
    Angeles Performance.
      
     
      
    The Scotland Yard All Stars Live 9 Piece Band*
      
    Comprised of many seasoned musicians from bands like Plant Life, Orgone,
    breakestra, Greasy beats and many more. On this evening The Scotland Yard
    All Stars will pay tribute to the legendary foundation sounds of Studio One.
    The most important and renowned Jamaican recording studio, Clement "Coxsone"
    Dodd's Studio One launched the careers of hundreds of reggae artists. Among
    these were Alton Ellis, Ken Boothe, Dennis Brown, Burning Spear, and the
    "Keyboard King", Jackie Mittoo. Bob Marley & The Wailers also got their
    start at Studio One with their first Jamaican hit, "SImmer Down". The
    Scotland Yard All Stars cover various classic organ driven riddims, as well
    as crucial roots harmony hits. Comprised of members of several L.A. funk and
    reggae bands, the All Stars are taking you back to school for a history
    lesson in roots.
