[acid-jazz] The Shape of Beats to Come

Dear Friends,

Tonight on KFJC, DJ Ann Arbor and I will be presenting "The Shape of Beats
to Come," a Month of Mayhem special on the Tru Thoughts label from Brighton,
England. Formed in 1999 by Rob Luis, this little label is keeping the funk
alive in modern dance music and, with nearly 100 releases under it's belt,
is showing no signs of slowing down. We'll be featuring tracks from most of
the label's artists, plus interviews with Rob Luis, Will "Quantic" Holland,
Alex "TM Juke" Cowan, and Ben "Nostalgia 77" Lamdin. And we'll have CD
giveaways as well, so don't forget to tune in tonight, Mayhem 6th, from
6-9pm Pacific time, 89.7 FM for those folks in the SF Bay Area and
www.kfjc.org for everyone else.
