The only real Acid Jazz club in Norway is finaly opening in Oslo. The name of the place is "OPEN DOOR". It`s located in the center, not far away from the main street of Oslo(Karl Johan) Just following Rosenkrantz gate up towards the Ibsen area (Ibsen kvartalet)

Every Friday from 21:30 There will bee live music and Jam session. Every Thursday and Saturday there is "Club Mingus": "A discerning jazz-funk enthisiast is our best customer". The DJ's at OPEN DOOR will take you back to the 60`s and 70`s, where all dance was coloured by the jazz funk.
In the early hours you will recognise the groove from the blues and funk, later on the music developes to ACID JAZZ, Trip hop and Jungle jazz.

The club "Jazid" in oslo is a new addition to the club scene. They have a very impressive DJ line-up that is constantly changing. Music style range from acid jazz, funk, to trip hop.

Started in oct. 92 with a funky touch and lots of soul. The place has a location in the central of Oslo.

The openinghours in summertime is all days from 22.00-03.30 Concerts such as The Roots, Freakpower, Gil Scott-Heron will also be part of the scedule this summer. Last year we did Me'Shell, Desiree with good response

There is a groovy club/cafe in Oslo called LOVE MACHINE playing music of the mellow, funky kind. Examples are Mushroom Jazz by Mark Farina, This is Acid Jazz Compilations and Kruder Dorfmeister.
The place is bright red and makes your legs melt. Walk along Akerselva and you might hear us.
