"In the spirit of that vibe, I'm offering up some information on clubs in San Francisco which regularly host acid/hip bop jazz, and also a listing of local new jazz heroes who regularly swing these mad halls."
There's a new installation on Thursdays called "Undercover". They cull some of the best SF Bay Area musicians from bands like Los Angelitos, Mo'fessionals, Alphabet Soup, etc. for some dope experimental jams. Guest DJ's spin some rare groove, funk, old R&B. Open mic for vocalists, rappers, poets, musicians to jam with the best.
330 Ritch was created for the jazzy/soul/latin music that we love. We're
located in SF's South-of-Market district off Townsend Street @ 3rd Street.
The phone number is 415.541.9574. Our e-mail address is
'ritchst@netcom.com'.
We're open Tues-Sat with live jazz and DJs each night.
