If you ever get the chance, I would go and see Corduroy live - that was
how I got into them - I saw them at a random city festival, and they were
going CRAZY - the aggression and energy in their playing was infectious,
and, although there seems to be less of it in their later albums, it's
still there (check out the 1st four tracks of Out Of Here). They're not
steely dan, and they never tried to be (although they were major
influences), but I think they're masters of their genre today.
