With all the discussion of mythical acid jazz cover versions I
thought I'd mention a real one I just got:
"Come Together" by the Smokin' Mojo Filters featuring Paul Weller, Paul
McCartney!, Carleen Anderson, Steve White and more (the guy from Oasis) and
prod by Brendan Lynch. Pretty funky. This is avail now on an import CD5 and
on the Help compilation out domestically with lots of interesting tracks
(the CD is a benefit album for the children of Bosnia and feats cuts by all
sorts of cool dudes).
