SPLATTER TRIO - ANAGRAMS (RASTACAN RECORDS BRD-007)
dave barrett / myles boisen / gino robair
...some of the freeeeest jazz i've heard in a long while. they are
indeed still around, in fact, the splatter duo (boisen / robair) just
played @ alligator lounge in santa monica, ca. last monday. they have
other stuff out but this is all i have. gino robair also books for "Dark
Circle Lounge"(tues) @ Hotel Utah in s.f., calif.. actually, he was
suppose to play a gig here in utah on friday but didn't show up. go
figure...

the tracks on ANAGRAMS is not in the same field as the track 'musing for
mingus'. ANAGRAMS is WAAAAY free while 'musing for mingus' has a
swinging mingus (sorry for hybridn') tune played by the band of gypsies
feel deal. yeah, whadda i know. hope some of this helps you out.
