as far as danceability, there's a lot more jazzy "2-step" coming out now.
the beats are more upfront and chunky, whereas the "roller" stuff tends to
be
too chill--why, i don't know, cuz it doesn't have to be!!

people don't really pay much attention to the music unless the really *hate*
it, or really *dig* it.
as far as mixing jazzy jungle (or anything really), i think that most djs
are
too lazy--get more musical!! e.g., if the breakdown's longer than you like,
put some beats in there, don't just go to another tune! i know that takes
some skill, but so does playing a "traditional" instrument--i think that djs
deserve more respect, but we're gonna have to *earn* it.
