I skimmed the album the other day. Yall know how hog
wild i was over the singles 'do soemthing' and 'ive
committed murder.'
did you ever get a big crush on somebody from slightly
afar? like you had it relly bad and your vision got
all crystalline like a snowfall up close when you
thought about them? Then you finally get them to go
out for linguine and conversation with you and you
find out they are just not what you expected and you
fell like an ass for being so gurly--or boyish, as the
case may be?
that's how i feel about the album. =( There are a few
nice songs, but it's kind of overproduced and a little
cheesy and innocuous. Like the kind of stuff you'll
find yourself humming along to in the grocery store in
8 months. It's certainly accessible, a little too
much for my tastes.
Maybe I'm being cynical, and not listening hard
enough. ??? But i'm not feeling this album the way I
thought I would.
Still like her voice, though.
