I definitely know what you're talking about. But I disagree that it's
"accessible." I don't hear much in the way ot Timbaland Beats (tm) or
Macy trying to be like TLC over a 2-bar loop and singing about dissing
"scrubs". It still is different than the mainstream. But I guess
everyone was expecting a funky, jazzy showdown and all we get is a
bluesy, rootsy hoedown (no offense to anyone who's into more bluesy,
rootsy stuff). But if that's what she wants, then more power to her. I
don't think any artist should be dictated by expectations.
