    Hey Jason and AJ list,
I can't speak about many of the releases you've got here - but the
new Clairaudience stuff is tight. Both are on test at the moment.

The Dazzle track is called "Dance With Me" and comes with a dub mix
that is just funky funky funky. It's got nuff old school garage
flavor, feel good type shit. I like. Totally sweet.

The Figarro is Pevan Evrett's new project. No vocals! Amazing stuff
though. I get the feeling he's really showcasing his straight-up
songwriting. Two jazzy bossa-flavored jams, fairly uptempo. One of
them is very tropicalia, the other more on some samba shuffle biz.

The rest I can't speak for, but I'd love to check out all the obscure
4hero material :) Speaking of which, did anybody hear 4hero's remix
of Amazon on the Millennium to Millennium 12" on UR? Wonderful
detroit homage. About time Mad Mike and 4Hero really did a record
    together.

Also on that note, 4hero also touched a Marcos Valle 12" on Farout,
called "Para De Fazer Besteira". Interestingly enough the mix is
credited to Marc Mac instead of 4hero as a unit - different sound
here. Shades of Naima in the beats, heavy on the ride cymbal. Grows
into a lovely future bossa affair.

Anybody check the Fug album on NuPhonic?
Lovely at times, can occasionally lack some funk, but still pretty damn good.

In hiphop news, the Jaydee album finally dropped on BBE (on schedule,
amazingly enough). It's some thugged-out shit for what we've come to
expect from him. but damn - You simply must hear it regardless. It's
the next step in hip hop production. Especially the cover of "Think
Twice" is about the warmest cover treatment I've heard in a while.
I'm going to have to do a real review of that record, it's
    challenging.

    cheers,
    .aaron shinn
