I did, and it was a great party! He played Nick Holder's "Friday Night At
Movement", and as far as I can recall, it's the first time I've heard an out
of towner throw this track down, although it couldn't have been more
fitting. He also played Sambassim and everyone went absolutely mad, and
also the unknown version of Mas Que Nada you mentioned. He played a
sizeable amount of latin influenced tunes (some that I knew, like Anabacoa
and Que Se Sepa from Roberto Roena, but many more that I didn't know). Near
the end of the night he played some disco tunes, like "I Hear Music In The
Streets" by Unlimited Touch and another song with the lyrics "You send
chills up and down and up and down my spine" (anyone know what this is?
I've heard it plenty times before, but never managed to identify it). It
was definitely a memorable party and the man is incredibly versatile.
