People...these are just some of the alter egos created by Hamburg based DJ,
producer, and remixer Lars Behrenroth. A longtime fixture on the German
house scene, LB's bossa-esque style has filtered across the airwaves of
Europe since '96. As BOC, his tight production skills and choice
collaborations have been picked up by the UK's Raw Sienna, NYC's Chez Music,
and pehaps most notably, Germany's TOI and Compost imprints. The Positivity
EP is the second WP outing on Compost, illustrating why LB's style goes down
as smooth as a shot of vintage tequila. This dude has a death-grip on the
essential elements of uplifting, ass-shifting grooves. More residents Scott
K. and Tony Watson add their own blend of deep, soulful house for a
spiritually nourishing Friday."
