Continuing the ska thread - Prince Buster has just got to be
mentioned, one of the most central figures in early ska ( as opposed to
the ska revival of the 70s/80s) check out "Rough Rider"or anything else
of his. Round about end of the 80's early 90's there was a lot of ska
influenced house music, but, only hearing it at raves, or dj tapes, I
couldnt name names - any help? Also, dont dis 80,s British ska - yes
Madness were **$^"*&* on a stick, but the Specials, Selecter, THe Beat,
and many other bands from then were, and are still worth listening to. In
my opinion any way :-)
