I saw Corduroy about 2 weeks ago headlining at the Leeds jazz fest. They were so
boring and predictable. I've only heard their album a couple of
times, which I thought was good, good drumming. However live, not
very good at all. Perhaps they were not into the gig or something.
I prfered their support act IZIT.
On the other hand however, the next night I saw Snowboy and the
Latin Section and they kicked ass. Really good, intense jazz latin
show! They got everybody going!
I've seen Jamiroquai live twice, and have both albums. I much
prefer the first album. However I thought both live performances
were excellent. I especially liked the 30 min medley of thier old
stuff. As for JK being Jamiroquai, the friggin digerydoo player got
more applause when he came on and off stage than JK!
Just a few thoughts ... (my 2p worth! - 1.51cents) ;-)
