I have two questions for the masses out there on the e-mail list:
1) How is acid-jazz different from fusion
2) What is/are the albums one must have in any acid-jazz collection; what
should a novice with a limited budget start out with to get a flavor for good
acid-jazz (assuming there is actually bad acid-jazz to be had).

I have been a jazz fan for a while, but am a newcomer to the acid-jazz genre.
One might ask how I could avoid the acid-jazz being a jazz fan? (I was asking
myself that very question.) I'm a college student who DJ's a jazz show, but
the station doesn't have any real new stuff. I play mainly Bop, then some
fusion from the 70's and early 80's. Can you out there help to bring me up to
date?
