If you're coming from a straight up jazz background I strongly suggest =
"the groove collective" (real funky w/ lots of jazz influence). Also =
"Medeski, Martin, & Wood (mad hammond organ, drums, bass - I have an =
older recording called "it's a jungle in here" w/ guest horns, wild!)
check them both out, you won't be disappointed.
