I count myself as an acid-jazzer who plays jazz too. It's a jazz standard in
as much as it appears in my copy of the real book. Creator doesn't appear
though...
I this is accounted for by the idea that AJ is a whole mix of different
influences (one of which is jazz) which is what makes it such fun to play.
For instance I went to one jam where one of the numbers had a real Egyptian
feel to it and I ended up open-tuning my guitar (DADGAD) which I'd never
done before at an AJ gig. Stay flexible
