A few days ago someone mentioned that they had the latest(?) release by
the London Funk Allstars.
Could that person please let me know the name of the album if it has one,
and the name of the lable that produced/issued this album.

On another note has anyone listened to the JTQ album called "absolutely Live"?
I saw it the local store and listended to it and must say that I was relatively
disappointed.
Somehow the group didn't seem as tight as they are in the studio albums.
Also it seemd to me that the drummer, and I now blank out on his name,
was totally out of it.
There was something about his drumming that just stood out of the music
and really bothered me.
I am not a musician and so I can't say exactly what was wrong, but I clearly
felt that he didn't have it together on that album.
Having said all this I was wondering how they are live?
This summer they are coming to the Montreux jazz Festival and I had
thought about going to check them out!
BTW, they will be either followed or preceeded by Guru's Jazzmataz featuring
Ronny Jordan!

Who is pretty new to all this but having a blast listening to all this
great music!
PPS Has anyone listended to the new album in the Rebirth of Cool Series?
It should the 5th one I think and it called Stolen Moments or something
like that. I myself have only heard about it from this girl who works
at the record store and she said it was great!
Talking about REbirth of Cool I would highly recommend the album
"The Birth of Cool" by Miles Davis. This is one awesome album!
