I've had this single for about a month, and have played the shit out of
it! I can not be sure, of course, but I am almost postive it is supposed
to be 33 rpm. If you listen to his other stuff, under Wagon Christ, you
notice he's pretty consistent with the tempo he works in, and I can't see
him cutting drum and bass stuff all of a sudden. Plus I read that this
was some older shit he had done that J. Lavelle had coaxed him into
releasing. Another thing, besides maybe a real early single, has Mo Wax
printed anything in 45 recently?
But, who can be sure right? I'd just play it whichever way sounds
better to you, y'know (I'm partial to 33 at this point; the 1st track on
the 2nd side isn't really slow; mixes well with more uptempo stuff). And,
yeah, by the way, that single is dope! Who thinks Luke Vibert's
production style is the bomb? My man is on a different level- sounds like
studio production mimicking instrument interaction in live performance.
Does anybody hear it like this?
I'm out. Peace-
