hey all
yes! the dizzy album "free ride" (for those who tuned in late) has the
song Unicorn on it, and geez, I Knew I heard that guitar riff someplace
before I got this album, now that you mention it. As a weird and wacky
coincidence, I just bought "Original Flava" yesterday, and have been
grooving out to the mentioned rip-off riff (chords are indeed the same,
although rhythmically worlds apart imho.) I like this _dream come true_
version better than the one I heard on the other BNH album. a little
slower, a little funkier. S. Bartholomew definitely has a Wah-Wah watson
affliction.
Will the BNH have a new album out soon? I found Original Flava to be a
little disappointing. (no N'dea) lets not start another BNH debate-I'll
DROP IT
on another tangent,
At my local mom&pop record store (support locally owned music
retailers) their selection of the previously debated and rumored
hollywood records Acid-jazz stuff is rather limited (3 titles) What else
did hollywood release, and will most of the rest of their discography be
available so I can spend my import dollars elsewhere?
