a shitload of posts later, i am left filling in trivial details about the
record in question, spotted (well spotted!) on the backside of Karl
Denson's "D Stands for Diesel".

It was released on "Grey Jazz Records", and was grey's break into the
ole' "gotta have put albums out to get distributed, gotta have
distribution to get albums out" circle. Owners of it will note the lack
of catalog number or even label abbreviation...

good luck finding a copy of this baby, aside from small numbers, it's
legal status is highly questionable.
