>has anyone checked out the new Ninja Cuts lp yet? "Flexistentialism -
>The joy of dex"? From the reviews I've read so far (Chaser & NME) its
>said to be excellent, as good if not better than Funkjazztical
>Tricknology.

got it (vinyl), love it! it's definitely a must get, just like Funkjazztical
tricknolostuff was. really it's pretty much all good and covers many styles,
from slower tripped out 60-sumthin bpm dubs to fast jungalized percussions
via the usual midtempo hip-hoppey stuff (mmh mmh that Wagon Christ track!
excellent!) and faster chase-scene music at a house tempo, and oh yeah Up,
Bustle and Out still with a great Andes influence. This compilation will
suit the vinyl dj as well as the CD listener, there's no way not to like it,
I tell you no way! I wish the vinyl came with 24 tracks too though...

oh and the best is that none of the tracks on it were in my bin already, and
trust me it rarely happens with compilations! big ups to Ninja Tune!

ps: I also got a promo CD from Verve: the latest Pharoah Sanders. well don't
have a CD player but I brought it with me to my corner bar last night and
that shit really rocked the place, excellent african beats and
extra-ordinary sax skills that most of you will love. Now I'm gonna try to
hunt it down on Vinyl, but I kinda doubt it exists. Top-notch production.
