My vinyl collection sounds virtually as clean as my CDs...What do I use???
Nothing. I never touch the playing surfaces of my LPs, even along the rim,
and, I never use any cleaners. I do have a stylus 'lubricant' that usually
use.
In my experience, I ended up with MORE static and crackling sounds when I
used cleaners...especially the cleaners that come with brushes. In my
opinion, the routine use of vinyl cleaners to maintain LPs is one of the
great myths placed on our society (probably by the vinyl cleaner
manufacturers...and maybe by some members of Congress).
