I don't know too much about turntables. My girlfriend has a Rega 'table
which looks the part. Apparently it's hand made. You change speeds by moving
the drive band between cogs (great fun, you actually have to remove the
glass turntable to do this) and it sounds wicked. This is all I know about
it but she knows a thing or two about equipment (she used to work for Trevor
Horn). So there!
