Bernard Edwards passed away in his sleep yesterday in Tokyo,
Japan. Edwards, one of the founding members of Chic, was found
dead in his hotel room by his band mate Nile Rodgers. Edwards, 43,
had no history of health problems. Earlier in the day he had complained
of not feeling well, but performed anyway. Edwards was in Tokyo
performing with Stevie Winwood, Slash of Guns and Roses, Simon
LeBon of Duran Duran and Chic at the Super Producers Concert.
