I second the previous post re: Sakamoto. All of his albums are for music
listeners who like to be challenged, surprised, but my favorite is
"Heartbeat" it is the most eclectic in my opinion.

He has released two albums and one ep since "Sweet Revenge": "Smoochy"
on his on label, Gut, and "1996" on Milan Records (all instrumental, redone
versions; mostly songs from his soundtracks i.e. The Last Emperor and
Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence), and the ep "Snooty."

His official website is one of the few very complete web sites on an artist
that is always kept up to date:

I've got a couple of CDs I can't stop listening to:

DJ Cam, Underground Live Act on inflamable records IRCD 001 and
Dimitri from Paris, Sacrebleu, on Yellow records YPCD 011A.

Both of these artists had songs on "La Yellow 357." THE song on DJ Cam's
album is "Dieu Reconnaitra Les Siens." It flows, but continuously changes
directions. The song on Sacrebleu is not even listed on the CD it's
after the very last song and there's this long silence on the same track
(like a lot of folks have been doing lately i.e. Maxwell) and then
this song comes out of nowhere. It's pretty hypnotizing.

"Sacrebleu" takes a few listens to get into, but the DJ Cam album gets
you straight off.
