Clubs/LA through Erik.Boralv@CMD.UU.SE

But I thought it would be cool to have a page on your poll where people
could share personal info on the subject. Below is what my could look like:
MY FIRST ACID-JAZZ EXPENCIENCE....IN JAPAN
I was first taken by the Acid Jazz scene while working and living in Tokyo
in the early 90's. One of my favorite past-times was exploring the
nocturnal club scene with with my good old friend and partner of crimes and
adventures, Jude Brand (best known as "Sister Chill"). Exploring every nook
and cranny around that concrete jungle to fulfill our free-style dancing
fetish. Groovin' Funk had met Improvized Jazz in the cosmos and The Mother
Ship had landed once again. Clubs that come to mind are the Blue, Cave,
Yellow, DJ-Bar Instink; and for a more intimate latin experience, late
nights at the infamous Acaraje. Groovin' to such artists as members of
U.F.O. (United Future Organization) Rafael and Yabe, along with DJ Krush,
or my friend James Vyner, then working with Typhoon Records, putting on the
latin twist to that "I just can't stop groovin'" vibe. You can visit Sister
Chill at Tokyo-Q's home page (http://shrine.cyber.ad.jp/~rok/table. html)
under Tokyo Night City Scene. Also, next time you are in Tokyo for an over
night, or two, pick up her guide book: "Tokyo Night City" by Tuttle
Publishing. It's a Clubber's dream-come-true to Tokyo's night scene! You
can E-mail Sister Chill at ian@pobox.com Tell her "Dro-san" sent you!

Until next time.....Sandro
