Mondays- Jazz It Up with DJs Mark Farina & Julius Papp at 330 Ritch Street
Wednesdays- DJs Cool Chris & George upstairs at The Up & Down Club
On-the-One DJ's at Cafe Mars
Thursdays- Soulvation with BPO's George & Roman at the Elbo Room
Return to Zanzibar with DJs Toks and Dedan at 330 Ritch Street
Saturdays- Metro Jazz with DJ Frankie at 111 Minna Street has good music
early

For live combos, a new restaurant/bar called Bruno's has been having some
great acts lately and Cafe Du Norde always has great shows......

Above all, stay away from dives & meat markets like 1015 Folsom, Club 181,
Sound Factory and DV8, where the suburban hordes come to stare each other
down & swap spit.1
