Oh - that's mild. Try listening to some of the crap that gets played behind
some commercials, like the Gilette adverts, the Coca-Cola adverts, the
MacSatan adverts, the DeBeere's diamond advert (a kind of amalgam of Vivaldi
crescendoes which really incites violent thoughts). What about those songs
which are rerecorded specially for the ad. like Eye Of The Tiger (Frosties)
or Satisfaction (Snickers).

It's really vomit inducingly, blood curdlingly crap (especially the Gilette
ad.), and many people realize this, so switching off mentally during
adverts. Playing AJ behind ads. lumps the genre with the 'music to
ignore/Gilette the best a man can get' stuff. It does us a huge disservice.
