I agree with Jude Kelly - if you like this stuff, you'll like the James
Taylor Quartet. Their "In The Hand of the Inevitable" is a brilliant
album. You may also like the other stuff on the Acid Jazz label like
Mother Earth and Corduroy or the London Jazz Dance Classics series on Soul
Jazz. Also the Repercussions are not as good as the BNH, but kind of
similar.

I hope this is the right place to ask help. A couple of weeks ago I
picked up a Brand New Heavies CD and have really enjoyed it. Then a
friend of mine told me about Jamiroquai and I got a CD and liked it too.
So, my question is this; who should I check out now? I really like that
funk/jazz thing. I've tended to listen to things like old Miles and
stuff like that in the past and know nothing about this stuff and people
at record stores are no help. So I've turned to you guys. Thanks
