A little help?

I hope this is the right place to ask help. A couple of weeks ago I
picked up a Brand New Heavies CD and have really enjoyed it. Then a
friend of mine told me about Jamiroquai and I got a CD and liked it too.
So, my question is this; who should I check out now? I really like that
funk/jazz thing. I've tended to listen to things like old Miles and
stuff like that in the past and know nothing about this stuff and people
at record stores are no help. So I've turned to you guys. Thanks
