The recent bickering and self-righteousness doesn't have much to do
with the vein of positivity under which Greg launched this list over
two years ago. Respect is king, forward thought prevails and lightened
hearts might do us better. Flames seems indulgent and irresponsible at
best - although necessary at times. The Internet provides the good and
the bad...

Nuf of dat. The new Straight No Chaser (issue #37) hit the UK
yesterday and should make its way to the U.S. by next week. I did a
couple of stories relevent to this list:

A rather rare look at the philosophy and music of Solesides with
support and intellectual guidance by Dave Tompkins

A short piece on hip-hop producer, Peanut Butter Wolf

A page of recent New R.A.P. Shorts from Amerika...

The following list of mix tapes should also appear somewhere in there
as well. If anyone would like a copy of the stories, please mail me
directly.

peace always

chris
