Coldcut = New wave/ambient?

Not wanting to get up late yesterday evening, I flipped the tuner on to
the local public broadcast radio station and caught the beginning of a
Hearts of Space program. I was paying much attention but thought I heard
him say Coldcut in the line up for the program. I listened through this
one, which was pretty typical of the spacey, trippy, mellow kind of stuff
they do. It's great for drifting off into la-la land, but I was expecting
something of the typical Coldcut, beat-driven nature. I didn't hear it.
The program was pretty good, though, with more of an "traditional"
electronic influence. At the end I listened for the credits and heard
Coldcut again along a couple of Norwegian artists. He said something
about the source of the Coldcut piece, but I didn't catch it. So what
gives? Does Coldcut have a totally ambient, minimal beat-type of product
out there? I believe he said it was a 95 release. If my memory serves me
well, the HOS program is titled "Blue Regions II" and it was program 384
(maybe). If I remember, I'll check their web page (www.hos.com?).
