There is a compilation out on Acid Jazz called 'Jazz Jungle'. It's basically
a collaboration with SOUR records who are a great UK Drum&Bass label. It's
actually a great Jazz Jungle compilation I think.... Is that the compilation
you were referring to bill? I know it's on a different label, but it could be
licensed differently in the States. The trouble at the moment is that there
are so many drum and bass compilations, that it's difficult to know which
ones are worth getting. On nearky all of them, it seems, is 'Mutant Jazz' by
T-Power and MK Ultra, I'm afraid that the Acid Jazz comp. is no exception.
It's a great track, but I think its about time that it was laid to rest.
Also worth listening to on your headphones, I've been told is DJ Shadow's
'What does your Soul look like?' I guess that Mo Wax's 'Headz' would be worth
checking out too... beatific science!!
