broke down and finally admitted that i was missing out on the vinyl and
purchased a turntable yesterday. and then a few funki porcini 12s to play
with.. can't wait to set it all up and to play with that pitch control..
wheeww.. very exciting.. anyway..
also picked up naked funk. absolutely phat. actually been getting bored
with much of my recent purchases and this album just perked my ears up..
some just great beats and excellent sampling.. "billy" has a beautiful
mellow sound to it that just makes you wanna cry.. anybody who doesn't
have this, go get it..
naked funk is phat. plain and simple.
on another note: saw a dj called "mais" spin on sat in sf. she was from
san jose.. anybody know if she's got a tape out? if she's online?
