I was at the same gig and have to second that, smooth sound and not
too overdone (as 'soul' sometimes tend to be). It was more like a
basic guitar plus vocals.
I only recently bought the album, and at first I didn't think it was
that great. After a few spins, however, it sounded better and
better. Now it's (by far) the album I have played the most this summer.

New stuff:

Misturada 2 - mixing 2
I guess this is a follow up to Misturada 1 - the remix project of
'Friends from Rio'.
The album is a remix of Azymuth's 'Carnival' album. I find this style
of music (jungle and latin/jazz) much nicer than "vanilla" style of
jungle. Well worth buying!
Track listing:
1. Flytronix - Tempos atraz
2. 4 Hero - Prefacio
3. Global communications - Jazz carnival
4. Ze's trip - Ausgang
5. Lumen - Calma
6. Roni size - Faca de conta
7. Flytronix - Tudo que voca podia ser
8. DJ Klas - A quiema roupa
9. APE - Tempos atraz
10. Azymuth - Cuica laranja azeda

Juluka - Crocodile love
This is world music from Johnny Clegg and Sipho Mchunu, pretty much in
the same style they always do. It's not as fantastic as some of their
previous work, but still enjoyable.

Omar - This is not a love song
Not a big disappointment, but close. I played it 4 - 5 times at work
yesterday and it doesn't just deliver. It's bland music, and I must
say that the production sometimes is just silly; there's only a lot of
"cool" sound effects and no real musical content. I think it's wiser
to wait for the remixes to show up...
