Two recent findings:
Unchartered territories - Jungle jazz 2 (Beechwood, SOUNDCD 11)
I raved about the first comp in this series earlier, and was really
excited about a second compilation. After a few spins I think this is
even better than number 1!
The style is jungle with a twist of jazz, which I personally find more
interesting that "normal" jungle. A must-have!

10. Wayward mind - Homeland
11. Project 23 - The pleasure and pain
12. Abstract truth - Get another plan
Martine Girault - Revival (BMG)
The album is produced and writted by Ray "Opaz" Hayden and is exactly
what you would expect; slick soul with an extreme focus on Martine's
vocals.
Well, it's hard to make a follow up to her classic song "Revival" and
it sort of shows. I doubt very much that this will become a commercial
success outside the core of Hayden-fans, even if the album is ok.
It might be worth waiting for the remixes to show up, especially of
"Bring back our love" which is an excellent song. Also, "Soulfully
yours" has that magic Hayden sound which is impossible to resist...
