Jungle dancing? Man I take my time with it ... you know when the
music's really good, it dances you, not the other way around ... when I
first heard jungle, it was an MC Dett & Crown Royals thing -- "Money In Yer
Pocket." I thought it was the coolest thing I'd heard in a long time, but
when it made me move, it made me move really slow and fluid. I guess I
followed the bass with it being half time and let the drums fill in instead
of following a kick drum that isn't there. Maybe that's why some people
haven't caught on to jungle. Of course, also being a jazz head, I tend to
go for the artcore stuff ....
Been to a couple of gabba things and those were pogo and mosh all
the way. Lots of fun ... I musta dropped 20 pounds. Happy things four
years ago -- that was a real twitcher, and I danced fast to it, trying to
keep up with it. I guess for me it has to do with what part's holding it
together.
